Refund Policy

Summary

Turninsure sells digital credits that are consumed instantly when you generate a report. Because the underlying product is delivered to you immediately, all sales are final and credits are non-refundable. The only exception is a sustained service outage caused by us, described below.

No refunds on used credits

Once a credit has been consumed to generate a report — whether or not you found the result useful, and whether or not the similarity or AI-detection score matched your expectation — the credit is not eligible for a refund. Reports reflect the output of third-party detection systems at the time of analysis. We do not guarantee any particular result, and dissatisfaction with the contents of a report is not grounds for a refund.

No refunds on unused credits

Unused credits are also non-refundable. We disclose this clearly at checkout, and your purchase confirms acceptance of these terms. We recommend buying only as many credits as you plan to use in the near term.

Exception: sustained outage

If the Service is unavailable to you for an extended period due to a failure on our side (not a problem caused by your account, your network, your file, or a third party such as Turnitin), and as a result you are unable to use credits you have already paid for, you may request consideration for a refund of those affected credits. Outage refunds are issued at our sole discretion. To request one, email support@turninsure.com within 30 days of the affected purchase, including the order ID and approximate dates of the failed attempts. The following are not considered our outage and are therefore not eligible: • Issues caused by uploading an unsupported file, a file over the allowed size limit, or a corrupted document. • Issues caused by Turnitin's own systems being unavailable, slow, or returning unexpected results. • Issues caused by your network, browser, or device. • Disagreement with the similarity score, AI-detection score, or other content of a generated report.

Failed report generation

If a report fails to generate due to an error on our side, the credit will not be deducted from your balance, and you may simply retry. If you see a credit incorrectly deducted for a failed job, contact us and we will restore it.

Duplicate or accidental purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same pack twice, or made a purchase by mistake, contact us within 24 hours of the order and we will review the request. Approval is at our discretion and depends on whether any credits have been used.

Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved more quickly by email. If you open a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us and the chargeback is found to be invalid, we may suspend your account.

How refunds are issued

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at checkout. We do not issue refunds by cash, store credit, or to a different payment method. Once Stripe confirms the refund, allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable refund right you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction.
